We all at some time or another will sit down thinking what we can this weekend. Well, the answer is sitting in your garage and here is a fantastic day out! Check out this fantastic full day drive itinerary which will fill your day with multiple travel destinations and amazing views. We designed this drive to provide different sceneries along the way.

Depart Sydney

1 Hour Drive to Panorama House
Heading off from Sydney, you will be travelling to Panorama House. This will be an approx. a 1-hour drive. Enjoy the natural landscapes while you travel south on the Princess Highway. Your first destination will be situated on the left side providing you with beautiful panoramic scenes of the coastline. Give yourself at least 20 minutes stay over time for the perfect photo’s opportunity.

25 Min to Wollongong Harbour Via Mount Ousley
Now we are heading to Wollongong Harbour for lunch! Continuing south on the Princes Highway, you will need to take the Mount Ousley turn off. Take your time as this has an extremely steep terrain. You have a choice of 3 different seafood outlets to choose from. Either way, you can expect to be eating some of the tastiest, freshest seafood on the coast! After lunch, why not take a walk onto the Flagstaff Point. There is the Flagstaff Point Lighthouse which was built in 1936 and amazing views of Wollongong Beach. 35 Min to Kiama Blowhole
The Kiama Blowhole is a popular attraction in the town of Kiama. You will see more activity from the Blowhole when the seas are rough, huge volumes of water are pushed through the rock cavity which launches high into the air. This is the largest Blowhole in the world.

50 Min to Headlands Hotel, Austinmer Beach
Heading back on your way to Sydney, you can stop of at the Headlands Hotel Austinmer Beach for refreshments (afternoon tea). They have the Airstream Dumpling Bar and Pizza’s for a great choice of food to satisfy anyone’s appetite. Here, you can relax while taking more ocean views.

15 min to Grand Pacific Drive / Bald Hill
Grand Pacific Drive is a masterpiece of human ingenuity. Starting from Lawrence Hargrave Drive and to Bald Hill, the Sea Cliff Bridge sits aligned with the coast cliff with uninterrupted views out to the ocean. The Sea Cliff Bridge has been featured in many personal and professional videos. Stop off on the north side at Bald Hill Lookout where you can watch Hang Gliders leap off the cliff edge and glide around. There is a Kiosk for refreshments and toilets available.

20 min to Princes Highway Waterfall
The last leg of your drive day will have you driving through the Royal National Park. Enjoy the lust rainforests with large tree canopies shading you from the sky. As your drive along Lady Wakehurst Drive, you can stop off at Audley for refreshments and toilets. From here you can continue your trip where you will come back to the Princes Highway. Then you are on your way home with a day packed with numerous visual experiences and memories to last a life time.
